Roll of 28 2026 Day 6

Yearly Photo a Day project for February. Photo of a photo of a palette.

A black framed Instax photo on a red background. The subject of the Instax is an open palette of a LOT of small pans of watercolour on a dark backround, it's offset in the Instax image.

Sometimes my meta doesn't work out quite how I envision it, but I still enjoy it.

This is an instax of the indulgent Artist Toolkit palette from Greenleaf & Blueberry I got myself for xmas.

A Post Script/bonus about my Nice Stone from yesterday. I brought it inside this afternoon & gave it a bath (it's in the front yard, we have a LOT of dog walkers & other wildlife go by, plus our soil is sticky.) and it's now my large petting rock. It didn't have very good scale in the photo yesterday, so I'm including photos of the underside of stone on my cutting mat for reference (no bananas in the house) and the topside in my hand. It's such a bizarre texture, almost fuzzy feeling? And it's nicely heavy. Do you think this is a good stone? Should I keep it, sell it, or put it back in my yard?
