Roll of 28 2026 Day 28

Portrait photo of a sidewalk with blue chalk on it that says "Lemonade + Drawings this way!" with an arrow pointing down.

Holy cow. I actually did this whole month! I don't think I've ever managed to not miss a day of this in the many years of doing this (even with the years off).

Today, this last day of February, will have two photos. The main one is one of the wonderful joys of living in a walkable neighbourhood (if you're ok with hills) with lots of kids around. I have no idea what this was for, as I found this well after there were no lemonades or drawings to be seen. It made me very happy to see, though, along with the second photo which is the single Camellia (clump?) hanging on desperately to our plant. It is so vibrant and cheerful a contrast, even with the heat the past two days.

This has been a great experiment and I've loved being more aware of my daily life, the cycles and weather around me, the small things that I notice and usually dismiss...

Thank you for coming on this month of photos with me. I'd like to add in photos throughout the year that aren't for specific projects, that continue this process a bit.

Vibrant pink-red camellia blossom (there's two, I think? One clump.) snuggled amongst the green flowers.
