Sparkly squishy tactile yarn & textile browsing.

I finally managed to go to Dharma Trading Co. in San Rafael after an appointment I had in the area. I have been a fan of Dharma since the mid 90's when I first got their mail order catalogue. I have been wanting to go in to the store since I realised it was in the SF Bay after we moved out here.

I was overwhelmed by all the beautiful squishy yarns. It was so sunny & bright, I was literally dazzled by this basket of holographic sparkly yarn. I had to take a few too many photos on my phone to get one that actually had the holographic sparkles in it. I fully recommend going to Dharma if you're in the Bay Area & squishing all the yarns, fondling all the knitted swatches and samples & checking out all the dyes & blanks. It's a wonderful shop full of very nice people. The parking is ... complicated, like most of San Rafael, so be warned.
